O.K., sometimes it's not so bad, but they must work in cycles or something because sometimes I don't hear from them at all and other times it's at least two a night. Can you guess who I'm talking about? yup, you got it....PHONE SOLICITORS!! They're worse than a bad case of headlice! I just don't understand it. Why do they still exist when we have so many other ways to advertise that are not as intrusive? There's television, the Internet, brochures on windshields or hung on doorknobs, billboards, the mail.....
Door to door salespeople went out with the times, why not these people? Look what happened with the "do not call" registry! You'd think they would have gotten a clue! NO ONE LIKES IT!!!!
I cannot imagine that they make so many loyal customers by doing it. If a company is going to be so inconsiderate as to call me at home and interrupt me when I have important things to do,
I don't care what kind of deal they're offering, I don't want to do business with them! To me phone soliciting is bad business. It pushes people away more than anything because it p----s people off! I can't believe it doesn't hurt their sales more than it helps them because everyone I talk to hates it.
I used to try to be polite to them because I didn't want to be rude but now I just hang up as soon as I hear, "Could I speak to the lady of the house?" CLICK. "Hello, could I speak to Ms. mispronounce your last name?" CLICK. You can't answer them anyway, you have your mouth full because it's DINNERTIME!!
How long will they continue this idiotic practice and be hated, hung up on, cussed out, yelled at or otherwise abused?? The more perplexing issue is why anyone in their right mind would agree to do a job like that! I'm sure they're pay sucks, and if they work on a commission basis that's even worse. I'm sure they don't make many loyal customers by annoying and irritating people.
Do businesses think we're stupid? I know where to go if I want my carpet cleaned or new windows or my windshield rock chips repaired! I will seek them out when I need them and I know where to find them. I know how to get a credit card and find out about special offers from credit cards I already have. I will pick up the phone AND CALL THEM! At my convienience and when I need it. What, do they think I'm going to wait around until a solicitor calls me to replace my broken window? Yeah, my window's been broken out for 6 months now, I've just been waitin' for you to call me! I thought you'd never call! If my window breaks, I'm going to call up a local business and get it fixed right away. I can't believe they make a whole lot of sales by hoping that when they call someone, their window just so happened to have broken the day before!
And if you do happen to have a weak moment and give in to some charity by donating, they thank you by bugging you for the rest of your life! I learned that lesson. Once you give they expect it every time, always bringing up the fact that you so generously gave the last time. Because of that, I don't give to charities anymore! They'll never leave you alone. It's never a one time donation. Why can't they see this? They have had to have driven away many people the same way. I don't see how it's profitable.
It should be made illegal. If everyone in the country could stop solicitation calls they'd all do it! Even the loathesome creatures that do it for a living.
Get a real job, people! You suck!!

Welcome...
Hello, and welcome to people suck!
A place for ranting about people that suck. There will most certainly be no shortage of discussion material, since there are so many people that suck.
I will start with Kimberly Trenor. She is who inspired this blog. Her and everyone else like her.
She's right up there with Andrea Yates and Susan Smith. (Oh, but we must pity them because they were sick! YA THINK??)
For those of you who don't know, Kimberly Trenor is the demon mother of the gorgeous little girl known as "baby Grace", but whose real identity is Riley Sawyers.
Her body was found washed up on a Galveston shore in a Sterilite tote. An amazing artist did a sketch of the badly decomposed body by pulling up her cheeks and making a "smile" appear on her face, or what was left of it. He knew he only had one chance to bring about justice for this little girl and it worked. His rendering was spot on and the girl's grandmother recognized the sketch as that of her granddaughter Riley Sawyers, who she had not seen in several months.
Turns out the mother and her boyfriend, husband, whatever, who she met, incidently, online while playing a game called World of Warcraft (which, probably has the ability to mesmerize the minds of the hard of thinking) admitted to torturing and killing Riley.
She described in great detail, in an affadavit to the police, how herself and her husband beat her with leather belts, held her head underwater and threw her up against a wall, among other things. They then hid the body in a shed for a few months and then the husband or whatever he was went to Walmart and bought the tote, a shovel and some concrete mix. They ended up sticking the body in the tote and tossing it into a body of water.
The "mother" is 19 years old and the step demon is 24.
The photos of her do not appear to be that of a meth addict, but I suspect they will find some drug use somewhere. I've already heard murmurings about her being afraid of him and that maybe she did this, or went along with it out of fear of him, so I suppose we are going to get the usual "poor her" bull crap. I'm sorry, that's no excuse. I would put myself in harms way any day to protect the life of my daughter. That's instict. I don't care if my life were in danger, I'd still fight to the death to protect her and so would any other normal parent. There is absolutely no excuse for doing that. I remember during the Susan Smith trial that the jury felt pity for her because she had suffered sexual abuse from her stepfather even after she was married and out of the house!! Ya know, if your stepfather is abusing you when you go to his house, quit going there!! She was married and living with her husband! I can't believe that hoboken frickin' jury spared her the death penalty because they felt sorry for her! I don't care what has been done to you, there is NO EXCUSE for doing that to your kids. And if that's the way you deal with your problems, then you are a danger to society! And regardless of whatever lame excuse someone has for doing something like that, they still did it and they have a debt to pay to society for their crimes. It doesn't matter if they're sorry or not.
So, I can just see it....some idiot jury will find some reason to take pity on her when the death penalty is what she and her husband deserve. See, that's what happens when you have regular idiots on a jury. I think jurors should be professionals, not regular, average people because most of them suck.
So, we will see how this unfolds. I swear, they better give the monsters what they deserve and even that will be too merciful!
